FXCO, Daegu’s first container-style fashion and cultural complex, brings vibrant cultural programming directly to the public. In the summer of 2023, it presents the special summer exhibition Dream & Flying: Come with Me, inviting visitors on a refreshing adventure filled with imagination and discovery.

Participating artists Jinwoo Kim, Dongheon Lee, Jiheon Oh, Mijin Choi, Jimin Lim, Donghwi Yang, and Rihyun So present approximately fifty works exploring dreams and hope through media art, music, painting, fashion, and other creative disciplines.

The Flying Zone features a collaborative project by installation artist Jinwoo Kim, painter Mijin Choi, engineer Dongheon Lee, and musician Jiheon Oh. Moving beyond passive viewing, the work responds to visitors’ movements and translates them into sound, bringing art, engineering, and music together in an interactive, multidisciplinary experience.

The exhibition also includes an art activity space open to visitors of all ages, offering a variety of programs through which participants can explore art freely and creatively.

Kyungjong Shin, director of FXCO, stated, “Through Dream & Flying: Come with Me, visitors can enter the imaginative worlds envisioned by the artists alongside friends, partners, and family. More than an exhibition to be simply observed, it offers a creative and participatory experience that brings art appreciation and hands-on activities together.” He added that he hopes visitors will enjoy a refreshing indoor arts experience at FXCO during the hot summer while discovering and developing their creativity.
